Training for Trainers in Tan Lac District, Hoa Binh Province

On June, 1 – June, 3 2018, MACDI with NLR and Tan Lac Education and Training Department held successfully a program with namely: “Inclusive Education” with purpose: enhancing capacity and knowledge, skills, method to take care of children with disabilities for trainees – who are teachers of Ngoc My, Ngoi Hoa, Dich Giao, Lo Son, Đong Lai primary school.

As one activities of project: “Enhancing the participation of children with disabilities in inclusive education in Tan Lac District, Hoa Binh Province” with the main purposes are strethening the inclusive education knowledge and skills in order to support children with disabilities for teachers in the area, improving the integration environment and coordination mechanism between families and schools, local authorities for children with disabilities to participate in schools in Tan Lac District.

The program had improved knowledge and skills about inclusive education for 30 teachers, leaders from Tan Lac Primary school like: Ngoc My, Ngoi Hoa, Dich Giao, Lo Son, Dong Lai and educators in Tan Lac; training for Education Offficers, teachers, parents and other relevants to transfer from family education to school education; training methodolody, teaching skills in inclusive classes, practicing teaching situation with children with disabilities.

After training course, the participants have a lot of basic knowledge to clearly understand about childrens and inclusive education activities; indentify the children abilities and meet the children need. Applying the important roles in education for children with disabilities.

The training was attended and supported by many people and local authorities. In other activities project, we hope that the program will receive a great support and coordinate between Board of Management Project, NLR and other relevant organizations to make a good and efficient project.
