Development of National Communication Action Plan on Water and Sanitation for UNICEF, MOH and MARD under the National Target Program on Water Rural Supply and Sanitation 2011 – 2015
Objective:
The main objective of the assignment is to design the comprehensive and evidence based NCAP on RWSS for period of 2011 -2015 with clear objectives, activities, relevant budget, responsibilities from line ministries, members of RWSS partnership, private sectors, INGOs; and an monitoring and evaluation plan, to contribute to reduction of disparties in water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) coverage it implemented.
Main activities performed:
- To provide reliable data regarding to NTP III goals on Water and Sanitation in rural areas in 2011 – 2015
- To provide main principles for Strategic National Communication Action Plan (focusing on Behavior Change and Social Change) 2011 -2015 for NTP III and consult it with NTP standing office, line ministries, other national and international partners.
- To coordinate the design of the Strategic NCAP 2011 -2015 with VEHIMA-MOH, NTP standing office and donors/partners
- To finalize the NCAP 2011 – 2015 with comments and inputs from national and subnational partners and support the dissemination of NCAP
