Assess Socio-Economic Impacts Of The Project Water Sanitation Using Solar Energy And Raising Awareness On Hygiene Matters In Mekong River Delta, Vietnam

Objective:

The consultancy service aims at providing support to Helvetas in assessing the socio-economic impacts of the project on water sanitation using solar energy and raising awareness in Mekong River Delta.

The assessment results are expected to assist Helvetas and other sponsors to estimate the socio-economic benefits that the project has created for the beneficiaries and local community in project area. Besides, the assessment also provided essential information for Helvetas to compare project results with the project targets, so as to draw lessons learnt to.

Main activities performed: Our team of experts has conducted the assessment using 7 criteria: (1) Poverty; (2) Expanding primary education; (3) Gender equality and women empowerment; (4) Child mortal rate; (5) Maternal health; (6) Pandemic deases; (7) Environmental sustainability.

After more than one working month, our experts have completed final report and submitted it to Helvetas and sponsors. The report provides assessment on socio-economic impacts of the project and draws lessons learnt.
